MKE Week 1 – Here I Go Again
It’s déjà vu all over again! I can hardly believe it’s been eight years since I participated in Master Key Experience (MKE). My first time through felt like a tilt-o-whirl of thoughts and emotions. Things moved so fast it was hard for me to absorb the deeper meaning of many of the lessons.
Don’t get me wrong, I was definitely better off for the experience, but I never achieved the results I was hoping for. I believe my main issue was not choosing a goal that resonated with my authentic self. Instead, I let my belief about what I “should” do override my intuition.
What my ego wanted was to build a business of some kind – network marketing, real estate, digital marketing – it really didn’t matter. In the end I just picked something so I could finish my DMP. Small wonder that I never had a burning desire to achieve it or believed it would become reality.
What my higher self was urging me to do, and I chose to ignore, was something more in service to others. But, despite all the MKE lessons, I couldn’t comprehend how that path could ever bring me abundance
Whenever I pictured a life devoted to service, all I could see was myself working some menial, minimum-wage nonprofit job. I totally missed the core teaching of the entire program!
Even though my financial situation isn’t any different, other things have changed for the better since then. I’m physically and mentally healthier. I have a better sense of who I am and how to live authentically. I feel like much of the stone has fallen away and I’m ready to step onto the path I refused the first time through.
My Definite Major Purpose (DMP) finally reflects the image of who I want to be and what I will do in service to others to get there. Thankfully, no soul-sucking desk job is required. This route is still scary, but I’m finally ready to fully embrace the process.

Thanks, Janet
Glad to see you back, too, Jennifer!
