MKE Week 3 – Work In Progress
This week I am finding it easier to just do it now! When my mind fights not doing something – the “do it now!” kicks in. I like it a lot. I’m fascinated by how it works. I struggle with getting started with chores – and the “do it now” short circuits my easy path of procrastination.
I do this thing with my chores – put three things away. Three is such a small number – so eventually I find myself putting a way far more than just 3 things and then in no time the entire task is done. “Do it now” does something similar when I’m mentally fighting doing a task. My command function is challenged. This is another good tool to put in my toolbox!
In the beginning of the week, I was still challenged to do the mid-day readings. Now it’s easier. This makes me feel like I’m making progress. Though the 15-minute sit is also still a challenge. Sitting, relaxing and not thinking is a challenge. It’s very slowly getting easier.
I am very challenged by the movie trailer. I’ve started and stopped multiple times. I’m still working on it and am determined to get it figured out.

Great progress. Just as it’s important to be reading your DMP 3 times daily even though it’s not perfect yet, get a draft of the movie trailer on a card and start using it, too. Perfection will come.
“Do it now” ends the procrastination. Enjoy the journey!
