MKE Week 4 – Following Through for Myself

“I can be what I will to be.” That line from Week 4 is a reminder that I have a choice in who I become—not just in what I hope for, but in what I do each day.

As a nurse, I understand responsibility. People count on me to follow through. But when it comes to my own goals, it’s easy to say, “I’ll get to that later.”

This week, my focus is follow-through. Make a small commitment. Keep it. Stop waiting for the perfect schedule or the right mood.

The lesson also builds on sitting quietly—not just relaxing my body, but practicing letting go of worry and anger. That doesn’t mean pretending problems aren’t there. For me, it means not carrying every problem into everything I do.

I want to keep showing up for others without putting my own life on hold. That starts with the choices I make today.
