MKE Week 4 – Growing Together, Becoming Who We Were Created to Be

It has been amazing to be part of my new Marco Polo group this year. The energy is wonderful. The shares are genuine and transparent, and the people are hungry for change—for growth, for understanding, and for making their lives better.

It is such a breath of fresh air to be surrounded by people who come from completely different backgrounds, have different experiences, and are navigating different seasons of life, yet ultimately share so many of the same goals.

There is something powerful about that.

We may all be starting from different places, but we are here to grow. We are here to learn. We are here to challenge the ways we’ve always thought, discover new possibilities, and become more intentional about the lives we’re creating.

There is so much to learn from the Master Key Experience (MKE), but there is also so much to learn from one another.

Every honest share, every new perspective, and every moment of vulnerability gives us an opportunity to see something differently. Sometimes another person’s experience provides the very insight we need to look at our own lives through a new lens.

Here’s to a season of learning and growing! Here’s to applying the lessons and tools we’ve acquired in the past while remaining open to new knowledge, new understanding, and new possibilities.

May we each become a blessing, not only to ourselves but to everyone around us. May we continue to grow, shine, and let our light shine brighter and brighter as we become more intentional about the people we are becoming.

And speaking of growth, one of the things I’ve been thinking and praying about lately goes much deeper than habits, beliefs, and personal development.

It has to do with my relationship with God and the power of the Holy Spirit within us.

Lord, I thank You for healing me. I thank You for bringing me through leukemia and for the gift of remission. I pray with gratitude and hope that I will remain cancer-free for the rest of my life.

Lord, I thank You for the power You have placed within me through Your Holy Spirit.

I’ve been thinking about how much our experiences, beliefs, and programming over the years can influence the way we think, respond, and move through life. And I’ve been wondering how much of that programming might interfere with our ability to recognize Your guidance and live in the fullness of what You have made available to us.

Father, if there are beliefs, habits, or patterns within me that are keeping me from drawing closer to You, I ask You to help me recognize them. Help me release what no longer serves the person You created me to be. Help me become more sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s leading and more willing to trust Your wisdom.

Teach me to quiet the noise, to listen, and to grow in discernment. Help me understand how You designed me to live, love, serve, and walk with You.

I don’t want to simply acquire knowledge. I want to apply it. I want to become more loving, more intentional, more courageous, and more available to the opportunities You place before me.

I want the growth happening within me to make a difference in the lives of the people around me.

As I continue this MKE journey, I am reminded that growth isn’t just about what we learn. It’s about what we do with what we learn. It’s about how we show up for ourselves, how we treat others, and how we become more intentional about living out the gifts we’ve been given.

I’m grateful for this community, for the people I’m learning alongside, and for the opportunity to keep discovering what growth looks like in my everyday life.
