MKE Week 4 – Progress, Not Perfection Something Is Changing From Within
What a crazy week it’s been! Between my business, everyday responsibilities, and my Master Key commitments, Life’s certainly kept me on my toes! But through all the busyness, I’m realizing something. Something is changing within me! Can I explain exactly what it is? Not really! But I know it’s happening, and that’s exciting!
One of my biggest accomplishments has been learning to sit completely still for 15 minutes. What once felt challenging has become something I look forward to! Especially during a hectic week, those quiet moments are so welcome. I’m learning to quiet my mind, slow down, and simply be still. I’m continuing to read my scroll morning, noon, and night, read my DMP with emotion and enthusiasm, review my flashcards, and enthusiastically repeat “DO IT NOW!” 25 times.
I’m also gaining confidence in completing my assignments, reading Haanel, and highlighting passages that speak to me. I’m discovering it’s not just about reading the words but allowing their meaning to sink in. Speed reading? Well, that’s another skill I’ll develop along the way!
Another meaningful part of my week is staying true to act of kindness, giving freely. I met with a dear friend and surprised her with homemade chocolates and a little card expressing how wonderful she is and how much I value her friendship.
Just a simple act of kindness, given from the heart, with absolutely no expectation of anything in return. What a wonderful feeling! My service for this week has not been accomplished yet, but I know I will get it done because I always keep my promises. And somewhere in the middle of this crazy week, I realized I hadn’t written my blog yet, it’s Thursday night and here I am, taking care of it.
Another reminder that progress isn’t about doing everything perfectly or right on schedule. It’s about recognizing what needs to be done and following through!
What I’m beginning to understand is that transformation doesn’t always happen in ways we can see or explain. Sometimes it’s in the stillness, the small acts of kindness, the growing in confidence, and the daily promises we keep to ourselves.
Perhaps the greatest change happening within me is realizing that I don’t have to be perfect to become the person I desire to be. I simply must keep showing up, trusting the process, and taking action!
I’m excited for another week of Master Key and discovering more about the woman I’m discovering. Progress, not perfection. One day, one promise, and one small victory at a time!

Progress, not perfection! And transformation!
