MKE Week 4 Blog – Insight
I had an interesting week doing this class and dealing with some old childhood triggers that have been revisiting me recently, due to a specific situation currently going on in my family…that is very difficult.
It’s one of those things where I know that there is absolutely nothing that I can do to change it; even though honestly, I secretly wish I could, I still know that I cannot…
People have choices; free will Planet, or so they say…even though many times it’s so hard to watch the consequences of those choices play out…
The good news is that I have been handling it much better this time around than I would have done in the past. It feels like several layers of pain have been removed from it this time around, so the emotional charge is much less, which is a very comforting, noticeable improvement!
I was proud of myself two days ago, when the day was particularly challenging; as there was a part of me that did not feel like doing my daily “to do’s” for this class, however I remained true to myself and the promises I have made, and I did what I was supposed to do, in spite of the temporary temptation from that old, familiar voice that insisted that it would have been fine skipping the “to do’s” that day… Instead, I remained true to myself!
I also noticed an interesting thing this week, regarding something that did not need to be done by any specific time or day, however there was a feeling of “urgency’ to hurry up and just get it done that day, so I did!!! (Could that have been from “Do it now!”?)
Lastly, last week I mentioned words that I kept seeing during my quiet mediations, however I could not read them. Well, the other day I was able to read one word: “Invisible’’ and I was really surprised as to what happened next!!!
Haiku of the Week:
Escape Route
Once he realized
That “letting go” was his “Key”,
He set himself free…

Congrats on the changes! And the Do It Now! I love your Haiku’s.
