MKE Week 2 – Keeping Promises to Myself
Week 2 of the Master Key Experience has me thinking about habits—especially the ones I fall back on without even noticing. The focus on the conscious and subconscious mind is a reminder to pay attention to what I keep repeating.
As a nurse, I know how important it is to follow through for others. But what about the promises I make to myself? My health, my goals, and time with my family deserve that same commitment.
One lesson that stands out this week is building trust in myself by making a small promise and keeping it. Not waiting until I feel motivated. Just doing what I said I would do.
I don’t need to change everything overnight. I need to stop putting myself last and take one consistent step forward.

Well done, Kevin. As a fellow nurse, I can relate. We always want to help others, but we need to take care of ourselves first!
